Be it known that I, IIORATIO B. RUGGLES, i acitizen of the United States, residing at Chelsea, in the county of Suffolk and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Caster-Housing, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure l is a top view of the caster-housing. Fig. 2 is a plan view of a caster-l1ousing,showing my new design. Fig". 3 is a vertical sectional view.

As shown in the drawings, the leading or of an upper body A of the caster-housing having a shank c, a flat surface 01 on the top of the upper caster-ball housing, a curved surface 6, a flat surface f, a threaded flange g for receiving and securing thereto the lower body material feature of my design consists, first,

of the caster-housing or confining-ring B, which holds the caster-lmll and ball-bearings in place, and a socket h for the ball bearings and caster-ball, and, second, a lower body of the caster-housing B, in the shape of a hollow ring, called a confining-ring, having a flat surface t', a curved surface j, and having the upper part of its inner side is threaded.

Having described my invention, What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for a caster-housing, as herein shown and described.
