DESIGN FOR A HAT HOOK OR RACK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,689, dated May 22, 1900.

Be it known that 1, CHARLES E. HUBBARD, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Paterson, in the county of Passaic and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Hat Hooks or Racks, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
The invention is fully disclosed in the following specification, of which the accompanying drawing forms a part, said drawing be ing a View in perspective of my newly-designed hat hook or rack.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists of an oblong plate or block A, flat at the back edge, as shown at B, the front thereof being provided with an upwardly and backwardly directed curved slot or opening 0, which opens downwardly and outwardly, as shown at B, thus forming a downwardly and outwardly directed projection D, the front or outer edge of whichis curved upwardly and baekwardly,
as shown at E, then backwardly and upwardly, and then hackwardly until it meets the back edge B, as shown at F and G. At the lower end of the slot or opening 0 is an upwardly and outwardly directed projection II, the lower edge of which and the lowerend of the plate or block A being formed by a downwardly and backwardly directed curve K.
It is apparent that this design is also applicable to supports for coats, cloaks, and other articles.
Having fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to seen re byLetters Patent, is-
The design for a hat hook or rack as herein shown and described.
