Be it known that I, HOWARD C. TYLER, a. citizen of the United States, residlngin the city and county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cores for Vehicle- Tires, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
The leading feature of my design for the core of a vehicle-tire is, first, a series of channels in the periphery of the core, producing the effect of across-shaped figure, and, next, a channel in theeenterof the core, with wings radiating therefrom.
Figure 1 represents a perspective view of a portion of a core embodying my design. Fig. 2 represents a transverse section thereof.
In the drawings, A designates a portion of a core of a vehicle-tire. In the periphery B of said core are the channels 0 C C C, with limbs D D D D between the same, producing the eifeet in transverse section of a crossshaped figure.
E designates a channel in the center of the core, the same having wings F radiating therefrom, said wings entering the limbs D and alternating with the channels C.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to soon re by Letters Patent, is
