Be it known that I, PAUL G. GARBER, a citizen of the United States, residing at No. 1129 Arch street, in the city and county of Philadelphia, in the State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and original Design for a Piano- Case, of which the following is a specifica tion, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part hereof, which is a front elevation of a piano-case, showing my new design.

My design has particular relation to that portion of the front of an upright-piano case Which is above the keyboard and the leading or material feature of my design consists of a series of comparatively-small hexagonal panels arranged in horizontal and perpendicular supplementary rows and occupying that portion of the piano-case to which I have just referred. These panels are formed of bars or tongues arranged to form the bee-cell pattern and dividing the main portion of the front of the piano-case into a series of hexagons, as shown in the drawing.

My design therefore consists in the uprightpiano case,the upper front portion of which is provided with the series of hexagonal panels, as described.
