No. 32,326. Patented Mar 6, I900. C. A. LIN-DSTROM.
AUTOMOBILE ELECTRIC MOTOR CASE.
[Application filed Jan. 26, 1900.
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
CHARLES A. LINDS'IROM, OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS.
DESIGN FOR AN AUTOMOBILE ELECTRIC-MOTOR CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design NO. 32,326, dated March 6, 1900. Application filed January 26. 1900. Serial No- 2,921. Term of patent '7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, CHARLES A, LINDSTROM, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Chicago, Cook county, Illinois, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Electric-Motor Cases for Automobiles, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a side view of my design for cases for the electric motors of automobiles, and Fig. 2 is an end view thereof.
As shown in the drawings, the principal and leading feature of my design consists in a motor-case closed at both ends, and comprising, first, a cylindrical-shaped field-ring A, having a eonvexed exterior circumference, and provided with a slightly raised and flattened attaching-surface a at one side and at a point almost diametrically opposite but above the surface a with a projecting suspending-lug b; second, a closed cylindrical end section B of less diameter having an end bearing bossf, flattened on top, and, third, an opposite cylindrical and tapered end section 0, which is of a greater diameter and length than section B, but less than the field-ring, and also has an end bearing boss flattened on top, all substantially as shown.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for an automobile electricn1otor case, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing Witnesses.
S. E. THoMAsoN, FRANK D. THOMASON.
