DESIGN FOR A TUG-FASTENER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,062, dated January 2, 1900. Application filed December 7, 1899. Serial No. 739.580: Term ofpatent 14 years.
['0 all whom, it may concern.-
Be it known that I, DONALD MoKINNoN, a :itizen of the United States, residing at lrookston, in the county of Polk and State of dinnesota, have invented and produced a cerain new and original Design forTug-Fasten- ITS; and I do declare the following to be a full, :lear, and exact description of the invention, uch as will enable others skilled in the art to vhich it appertains to make and use the same.
The invention relates to a new and original lesign for tug-fasteners; and it consists of a [lg-fastener of the shape and configuration hown in the accompanying drawings, in vhich- Figure 1 is a perspective view. Fig. 2 is a .ide elevation.
The leading featu re of the design comprises he vertical portion 1, adapted to be secured to the end of a singletree and terminating at its upper end in a coiled eye 2, which extends upwardly from point a to pointb,thence downwardly from point I) to point 0, and thence curved outwardly, as at point (I.
This device is adapted to be secured to the end of a singletree and is used to prevent the cockeye from becoming accidentally disengaged therewith.
\Vhat I claim is- The design for a tug-fastener, substantially as herein shown and described.
