Be it known that I, JENNIE L. BRIGGS, of 'launton, in the county of Bristol and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Shirt-\Vaist Fastener, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure l is a perspective view of a stud adapted for use on shirts or waists, showing my design. Fig. 2 is a sectional view of the same.

The leading feature of my design consists in the bar, the ends of which extend at right angles to the bar and support two buttons, the plane of which is parallel to the plane of the connecting-bar.
