SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34, 45, ted June 11, 1901.
Application filed May 18, 1901. Serial No. 60,949. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, SAMUEL ANDERSON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Provideuce, in the county of Providence and State of Rhode Island, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Button or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure l is a front view of a button, showing my design. Fig. 2 is a rear view of the same. Fig. 3 is a sectional view of the button.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material features of my design consist in the irregular marginal edge of the disk, forming the head of the button, and the raised marginal lines of a series of leaves extending from appearance of a pansy-flower. The disk a,
the center and presenting to the eye the forming the head of the button, has on its face raised lines representing the pansy. The edge of the disk is scalloped along the approximately circular margin. From the rear of the disk aextends the post I), having on the end opposite the disk at the shoe 0.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a button or similar article, as herein shown and described.
