Be it known that I, DAVID IIESTON, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city and county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced anew and original Design for a Blank for Paper Boxes, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

The leading feature of mydesign fora blank for a paper box is a blank consisting of side members, end flaps, an attaching fold, and tongues, and transversely-extending flutes on said sides, flaps, and tongues.

In the drawing, A designates a blank fora paper box, the same consisting of the side members I C, D, and E, the attaching fold E, the end flaps F, G, H, J, K, and L, and the tongues M and N. On the side members 13, (J, I), and E and the flaps F, G, II, J, K, and L are transversely or horizontally extending flutes. The tongues M and N have plain sun faces.
