DESIGN FOR A LOOKET.
SPECIFICATION formingpart of Design No. 30,646, dated May 2, 1899.
Application filed March 27,1899. Serial No. 110,718. Term of patent 3i years.
To all whom it inaiy concern.-
Be it known that l, BERNHARD M. GRAFF, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of St. Louis, State of Missouri, ha. e invented a certain new and original Design for aLocket, of which the following isa full. clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, in which-- Figure 1 is a view illustrating the obverse side of my newly-designed locket. Fig. 2 is an edge elevational view of the same. Fig. 3 is a view illustrating the reverse side of my newly-designed locket This invention relates to a new and original design for lockets, the essential feature consisting of a heart-shaped locket on the ob verse of which is a circular panel slightly convex, the margin of the body portion of said locket being ornamented by a scroll-border, while the reverse has a margin of scrolls, the
middle heart-shaped panel being raised or convex.
In the drawings, A indicates the body portion of the locket, the obverse side or face of which is provided with a circular panel a, which is slightly convex. The margin of the locket is ornamented with scrollwork, as indicated at b. The reverse face or side of the locket is also ornamented around its edges by scrollwork c, leaving raised or convex heartshaped panel d.
What I claim is-- The design for a locket, substantially as herein shown and described.
