DESIGN FOR A CLOCK-*BACK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,970, dated January 10, 1899.
Application filed December 13, 1898. Serial No. 699,181. Term of patent 14 years.
To aZZ whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, NATHAN L. WHEDox, of Everett, in the county of Snohomish and State of "Washington, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Clock- Back, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part of this specification, in which the figure represents a face View of a clock-back embodying my new design.
The design in its entirety comprises a back circular in outline and presenting an offset at the top, the top of the ofiset being arched and the sides presenting curves of greater radius than the arch.
The surface ornamentation consists of a circular series of stars around the margin of the back, a group of stars at the ofiset, and a crescent above the said group of stars.
The leading feature of the design consists of the back having an offset, and the surface ornamentation comprising a circular series of stars surmounted by a group .of stars and a crescent.
I claim- The design for a clock-back herein shown and described.
