DESIGN FOR A BADGE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,958, dated January 10, 1899.
Application filed July 20, 1898. Serial No. 686,476. Term of patent 14 years.
To a whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOSIAH BROWN KING, a subject of Her Majesty the Queen of Great Britain, residing at the city of Toronto, in the Province of Ontario, in the Dominion of Canada, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Badge, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Myinvention is a badge; and it consists of a series of letters and links intertwined and connected together.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a face View of my design, and Fig. 2 is a section on line 2 2 of Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, the design consists of the letters I O O F, arranged in the order named and alongside of one another,
these letters having intertwined therewith a. 20 series of links, the first link including in its circuit the letter I, a part of the letter O, and a part of the second link. The second link includes in its circuit a part of the first link, a part of the first letter O and part of the second letter O, and a part of the third link, and the third link includes in its circuit a part of the second link, a part of the second letter O, and the letter F.
I claim-- The design for a badge as herein shown and described.
