GABRIEL STREICII, OF OSIIKOSH, WISCONSIN.
DESIGN FOR A FlRE-HOSE-WAGON BODY.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,577, dated May 10, 1898.
Application filed February 14, 1898. Serial No. 670,239. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GABRIEL STREICH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Oshkosh, in the county of WVinnebago and State of Wisconsin, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Fire-Hose-lvagon Body; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
In the accompanying drawing the figure is a perspective View of a fire-hose-wagon body embodying my design.
Ihe leading feature of my design consists of an approximately rectangular-shaped wagonbody having a longitudinally and vertically arranged central partition, vertically arranged rollers, and a horizontally-arranged roller at the rear end of the wagon-body.
In the drawing, A represents the wagonbox body, which is rectangular in shape and has a horizontally-arranged slatted floor a and a centrally-arranged vertical partition B. Along and above the sides of the wagon-body appear hand-rails G, which extend from the front end of the wagon slightly beyond the rear end of the same and terminate in vertically-arranged hand-rails c, at the lower end of which appears astep D. At the front end of the wagon-body and above the same appears a seat E, and at the forward end of the wagonbody appears a foot-rest F. The wagon-bod y also appears provided with wheels G and a combined mud-guard and step H, of a curved form, located between the front and rear wheels and extending over both of said Wheels. A pole I also appears extending from the front end of the wagon, and beneath the rear end of the wagon appears a tool-box J of rectangular shape, and beneath the step D another tool-box of rectangular shape.
Having now described my design, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a fire-hose-wagon body, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I aflix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
GABRIEL STREICI-I.
