DESIGN FOR A BEARING-BRACKET FOR BICYCLES.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design NO. 28,548, dated May 3, 1898.
Application filed December 20, 1897. Serial No. 662,753. Term of patent 3% years.
To aZZ whom it may concern.-
Teit known that l, GEORGE JOHN STEVENS, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, residing at London ,En gland, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Bearing-Bracket for Bicycles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to said drawings, Figure 1 is a side elevation of the bracket embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a vertical transverse sectional view on line 2 2 of Fig. 1.
The leading feature of my design consists in the central horizontal cylindrical body provided centrally with short tubular sockets having their axes perpendicular to the axis of the cylindrical body.
In the drawings, A represents the horizontal cylindrical body, having its exterior pro vided centrally with the tubularsockets a, and a. of less diameter than the bodyA and having their axes disposed at right angles to the axis of the main body. The sockets a and a are not arranged diametrically opposite to each other, but are disposed at a slight angle to each other, as shown.
What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
