SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,712, dated October 12, 1897.

To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GUSTAV A. BAUER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Rochester, in the county of Monroe and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and originalDesign for Spectacle-Bridges, of which the following is a specification.
In the drawings,
Figure 1 is a view in rear elevation.
Figure 2 is a view in perspective, and Figure 3 a view in side elevation, of the spectacle nose bridge, showing my new design.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of the nose bridge embodying my design consists of a pair of closed eyes a, a, formed as helical coils at the respective extremities of the saddle or body A of the bridge, and disposed in planes perpendicular to that of the lenses, and of a pair of Ushaped loops 1), b, situated respectively below the respective eyes a, a, said eyes and loops being continuous, so to speak, of the saddle or body A.
The nose pieces C, are respectively mounted upon the respective free extremities of the wire forming the loops 1).
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a spectacle bridge as herein shown and described.
