DESIGN FOR A FRAME FOR TOY SAND-MILLS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,325), dated November 24, 1896.
Application filed Ju1y16,1396. Serial No. 599,445. Term of patent 3 years.
lie it known that I, MAX ll. SCHARLES, a t'iiizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the country of Xew York and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Toy Sand-Mill Frames, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact specification.
My design relates to toys, and particularly to that class of toys known as sand-mills," wherein sand falling from a hopper upon a paddle-wheel causes the latter to revolve.
The object is to produce a design fora frame for such a sand-mill as will be simple and contain but few elements, but which at the same time will present the appearance of being in fact a complicated structure.
The design will be more particularly described with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which the figures represent a, perspective View of a sand-mill frame em- 1 bodying my invention.
Figure l is a front VlOW in perspet-live, and Fig. 2 a side view of the same.
The leading features of my design are the vertical standards u a, substantially parallel to each other, the raised base I), the base 0, having scalloped edges c, the braces (l d, and hopperc, the latter beingreetangular in shape and also having scalloped edges 0.
f is a paddlewlieel on post c.
Having thus described and illustrated my invention, I claim- The design for a frame for toy sand-mills, herein described and illustrated.
