'l'o all whom it may concern,-
Beit known that we,SErH ILLEAVENWOETH and JOSEPH T. HOMAN, citizens of the United States, residing at Cincinnati, in the county of Hamilton and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Sick-Call Outfit; and we do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this specification.
Our invention comprises a new and original design for a combined candelabrum and water-font, such as used by the Catholic clergy in making what are generally known as sick-calls, the special features of said design being clearly shown in the annexed drawings, in which Figure 1 is a front elevation of a combined candelabrum and water-font embodying our design. Referring to Fig. 1, A represents a base supporting an ecclesiastical crucifix B, near the foot of which is a shell-shaped Water-font C, a plan of the latter being seen in Fig. 2. Projecting laterally from the crucifix are arms D D of a candelabrum, said arms being composed of scroll ornaments terminating at their upper ends with conventional forms of acanthus-leaves, as seen at d d.
E E are ordinary candle-holders carried by these arms D D and having their bases sur rounded by the leaves d d.
F represents a combined scroll and leaf ornament above the junct on of the crucifix B and its arms D D.
