.To (LIZ w/mnt it; may (UIICII'IIJ .lle it known that 1, ANDREW L. Slattonn, a citizen of the United States, residing at .llar Harbor, in the eounty ot' llarmoek and State ol Maine, have invented a new and. original Design for a Vehicle-Body, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for a vehicle-body; and it has for its object to provide a design of this elntraeter that shall be both useful and ornamental.
The leading feature ol the design resides is a vehicle-body essentially eoniprising an elongated horizontal. platform or lmard, a plurality of passengenseats arranged transversely of the platform at regular-ly-spaeed distances apart and ha ing wide reelangularly-shaped upright baeks, and at opposite ends depending quadrangular pedestal-pair els joined to the platform at the oppositetop edges thereof, an enlarged seat-boxing arranged on the tron t end of the platform. and provided with an inclined front end-board and opposite vertical side pieees having upright extensions, an elevated drivefs seat supported on said upright extensions and disposed in a plane above the plane of the top edges of the backs of the passenger-seats, a rear boxing arranged on the rear end of the platform and supporting thereon opposite quadrangular pedest aliianels, and a hornnians seat arranged on said panels and disposed in a horizontal plane approximately in a line with the plane of the top edges of the backs of the passenger-seats.

Referring to the drawing, the numeral 1 designates an elongated horizontal. platform or board, transversely of whieh is arranged a plurality ol passengwseats 3, and. whieh platform or board is supported .l'or travel over the ground on the running-gear Ii. The transverse passenger-seats 2 are of the same width as the platform 1, and are provided with. wide reetangularly shaped upright eushioned btH'kS el, and at opposite ends with tlllttlll'ttllgular pedestal-panels 7, whieh are joined to the platform at the opposite top edges thereof.
An enlarged seat-boxing (i is arranged on the front end of the platform and is provided with an inelined front end-hoard T and opposite vertical side pieees The opposite vertieal side pieees S are provided with upright extensions E and rectangular slatted windows 1d, and at the upper edge of the inclined front end-board T, and at an obtuse angle thereto supported the inelined t'o .1t.-l.)oard ll, in front of the drivers seat 12. The drivers seat ii is z'rrrz'lnged on the upright extensions D of the side pieces H, and is disposed in a plane above the plane of the top edges of the seat-backs 4-.
A rear boxing ii; is arranged on the rear end. of the platform and supports opposite quadrangular pedestal-panels 14;, on whieh panels loeated a hornmans seat 15, having an upright baek ilti and disposed in a plane approximately in a line with the plane of the top edges of the seat-backs 4.
