The leading feature of my design consists in four seIniscallops or quadrants, the outer angles of which join straight parallel margins of the body of the cuff, while the inner adjacent, angles thereof join separate straight lines, which are intermediate of and parallel with the said straight marginal lines of the body.
A represents the body of the cuff, showing straight marginal edges, which constitute the edges of the cuff. The ends B B thereof each show two semiscallops or quadrants a a, the outer angles of which join straight and opposite marginal edges, while the inner adjacent angles of said semiscallops or quadrants join an intermediate straight marginal edge, as by the edges of a projection Z1, which said edges are parallel or approximately parallel with the main marginal edges of the body A. The said inner angles are joined as by lines c or c.
