DESIGN FOR A STOVE.
SPEGIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,671, dated September 10, 1895.
Application mea .iugm 2, ma. sesamo. 558.025. 'rm were es me.
7o @ZZ whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOSEPH LEON GoBEILLn, a citizen of the United States, residing in cleveland, in the county of Cuyahoga and state of Ohio, have invented and produced a and original Design in Stoves, of which fh following is a specification, reference bes ng had to the accompanying drawings, showmp: a, perspective view thereof.
The leading features of my design consist of the stove-base A, the central or body portion B, and the top G,all said parte erna.- mented as shown and described. Thus the base A has three distinct swells 1, 2, and 3 on dilerent planes and extending entirely a round the stove, and scrollwork a decorates the lower or border part 3, while seperate upr ight ornamental tiguresc extend across both the rounded surfaces 1 and 2.
The central or body portion B is distinq uished, especially, by plain columns 4 at its corners with small beads along their center, a nd said columns terminate at the bese of the arches at the top of the respective sides of the stove. These arches are filled in with wicker-work 6, wrought out on curved lines to lend grece to the design, while wicker or basket work also fills in the larger part of the sides between columns 4.
The top portion C is massive in design and swells ont conspicuously at its corners, which run down to s point near the topof column 4, and the space between these corners is arched and retreating and overllangs thewicker-work 6, above described. The extreme top 10 of the portion C is relieved by a. border 11 from the curved arched portion 12 beneath, sud any suitable ornamental ligure (indicated here by 14) may be used to surmount and complete the design.
What I claim is- 1. In a. design for a. stove, the base substantially as shown and described.
2. In a design for s stove, the body substantialiy es shown and described.
3. In a design for a. stove, the top snbstentially as shown and described.
4. The design for a stove substnntiell;r ns shown and described.
JOSEPH LEON GOBEILLE.
