CHARLES VVHITTINGHAM, OF CLEVELAND, OHIO, ASSIGNOR TO THE CLEVE- LAND FOUNDRY COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A GRATE- FOR OlL-STOVES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,394, dated June 1 1, 1895. Application filed May 13,1895. Serial No. 549,204. Term of patent 7 years.
['0 all whom it concern.-
Be it known that I, CHARLES WHITTING- HAM, a citizen of the United States, residing at Cleveland, in the county of Cuyahoga and 5 State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Grates for Oil and Vapor Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being made to the accompanying drawing, showing the parts 10 thereof.
I5 thereof. Thus, in the accompanying drawing, we have a rectangular figure ornamented with a border having two plain sn rfaces, -2-
and 3 substantially at right angles to each other; a flat ring 4 lyinginsidethis border in the same plane therewith and alternately long and short flat bars -5, which have scallops 6- in their top edges and scallops -8 and t) in their lower edges, at either side of said ring. These bars 5 rise to a common plane above the frame and have the appearance of standing edgewisc alone on the said border and ring.
\Vhat; I claim is- The design for a grate for oil or vapor stoves, substantially as shown and described.
