DESIGN FOR A SHOW-CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,206, dated April. 16, 1895.
Application filed March 9, 1895. Serial No. 541,196. Term ofpatent 14 years.

Be it known that I, HORACE W. Sxow, a citizen of the lv nitcd States, residing at Bryan, in the countyof Williams and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Show-Cases, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a perspective of the show case; and Fig. 2 is a vertical section through the same.
The leading feature of my design consists in a rectangular shaped compartment having transparent paneled sides and on one side thereof and in communication therewith a smaller compartment having an inclined top extending from one side of the main compartment to the lower edge of the side walls of the smaller compartment.
In the drawings the numeral 1 designates the main compartment which is rectangular in its general contour.
The numeral 3 designates a rectangular frame constituting a border to the transparent paneled sides 3.
The numeral I designates the smaller communicating compartment along the lower portion of one side of the main compartment, while the numeral 5 designates the sides to said smaller compartment.
The numeral (5 designates the inclined top to thesmallercompartment inclining from the main compartment to the lower ends 7 of the side walls 5.
Another feature of the design is an opening 5 in a partition 9 separating the two com partments, said opening being opposite to the front side of the main compartment so as to be visible through said front side.
Another feature of the design is an opening 10 in the top 11 of the main compartment having a cover 12 whose top-surface lies substantially flush or in the same plane with the outside snrface of the top of the main compartment.
What I claim is The design for a show case substantially as shown and described.
