OOURTNEY H. WEST, OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, ASSIGNOR TO THE MOFFITT- WEST DRUG COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE DESIGN FOR A PACKAGE-CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,148, dated March 26, 1895.
Application filed November 22, 1894. Serial N0. 529,656. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that I, COURTNEY H. WEs'r,a. citizen of the United States, residing at the city of St. Louis, State of Missouri, have invented a certain new and original Design for Package-Cases, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, wherein the figure represents my new and original package-case.
This design relates to a new and original surface ornamentatiomwhich is prnted,stamped, or otherwise placed upon the side or sides of package cases, said ornamentation being composed of a number of scrolls arranged as shown in the drawing. These scrolls forni substantially a frame or border, the top of which is elevated at its middle, forming an apex, while the vertical portions of the frame are formed by arranging the scrolls in substantially the same vertical plane. The bottom scrolls are disposed horizontally, and meet the vertical scrolls with reflex curves. These scrolls, arranged as above, are represented on a plain backgronnd,and within the frame so formed, may be placed printed matter.
'The package case to which the design is npplied, has a rectangular outline.
What I claim is- The design for package cases, substantially as herein shown and described.
