To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, SIMON ZINN, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the county and State of- New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Frames for Pocket-Books and other Articles, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, showing a part thereof.
This design has for its object to provide a novel, ornamental and characteristic frame for pocket-books, purses, bags, and similar articles.
The design consists in a frame having an oblong portion, joined at its ends to shorter oblong portions with indentations between the long and short oblong portions, and longitudinal, cylindrical portions having laterally enlarged and indented portions joining them to the short oblong portions.
Theidesign is illustrated by the accom panying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a plan view of a pocketbook frame embodying my design; and Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the same.
In the drawings the numeral 1 indicates an oblong portion, joined atits cndsto shorteroblong portions 2,and3areindentations between the short and long oblong portions 2. The long cylindrical portions 4 are joined to the short oblong portions 2 by laterally enlarged portions 6 and indented portions 5. The un- 1neral7 indicates a lateral lip projecting from the long oblong portion 1.
The design provides a handsome pocketbook, or similar frame which presents a distinguishing and characteristic appearance.
\Vhat I claim is- The design for the frame of a pocket-book, having the oblong portion 1, shorter oblong portions 2, indentations 3, long cylindrical portions 4, lateral enlargements (i, and indentations 5, substantially as shown and described.
