DESIGN FOR A TUYERE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,117, dated March 12, 1895.
Application filed November 1, 1894. Serial No. 527,677. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, MORGAN L. WILLIAMS, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Johnstown, in the county of Cambria. and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a certain new and useful Design for Tnyeres; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the aecompanyingdrawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
Figure 1 is a perspective view showing the design. Fig. 2 is an end view of the same.
This invention has relation to certain new, original, and useful designs for tuyeres, and it consists in the novel configuration of parts, all as hereinafter described and shown in the accompanying drawings.
The design consists in a tuyere having the form of a rectangular elongated prism A, 0pposite sides of which atone end portion of the tuyere are flared as shown at a, the flare being upon two sides only, and forming a symmetrical enlargement of the tuyere end.
The tuyere when viewed from either end, presents a series of openings 1).
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is The design for a tuyere substantially as shown and described.
