FREDERICK S. CHASE, OF WATERBURY, CONNECTICUT, ASSIGNOR TO THE W'ATERBURY MANUFACTURING COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A SOCKET-BASE FOR LAMPS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,074, dated February 26, 1895.
Application filed January 14, 1895- Serial No. 534,920. Term of patent 7 years.
To aZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FREDERICK S. CHASE, of Waterbury, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for a Socket-Base for Incandescent Electric Lamps; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in-

This invention relates toa design for socket bases for incandescent electric lamps, and the design consists in the configuration as hereinafter described and shown in the accompanying illustrations.
As herein shown, my newly designed socketbase has a cylindrical hub A, merging at its inner end into the smaller end of a dome-like body-portion 13, larger in diameter than the said hub, and merging at its larger end into a knurled flange C, from the inner edge of the lower face of which a skirt D, having a depending finger E, depends.
I claim The design for socket-bases for incandescent electric lamps, as herein shown and described.
