DESIGN FOR A RADIATOR-LOOP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,527, dated July 31, 1894.
Application tiled March 23,1894. Serial No. 504,871. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, CHARLES F. WALTHER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Buffalo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented acertain new, useful, and original Design for Radiator-Loops; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
My new and original design has for its object to impart to a loop for a steam or hot wazer radiator, a novel and pleasing configuraion.
The design is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein,-
Figure 1 is an outside face View of a loop embodying my design. Fig. 2 is an inside face View of the same, and Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view on the line 3-3 of Fig. 2.
The outer wall, 2, is continuous from edge to edge of the loop and curved or bowed outward somewhat, as clearly illustrated in Fig. 3. The opposite orinner wall of the loop has near each end a curved portion, 3, the curve of which is substantially similar to, but opposed to, the corresponding portion of the outer wall. That part of the inner wall which is situated between the portions, 3, 3, thereof, is fluted lougitudinally or in the direction of the length of the loop, the flutes or channels being represented by the numeral, 5, and the ribs which separate them by the numeral, 6.
The essential characteristics of my new and original design are the making of the loops with one face or wall continuous from edge to edge and slightly bowed outward, and the opposite wall continuous from edge to edge and fluted across its middle portion.
What I claim is- The design for a radiator loop, substantially as shown and described.
