T-PIEOE FOR METALLIC GEILINGS.
No. 23,053. Patented Feb. 6, 1894 UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
\VILLIAM S. GRAFTON, OF \VIIEELING, WEST VIRGINIA, ASSIGNOR TO Tlll] \VIIEEIJNG CORRUGATING COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A T-PIECE FOR METALLIC CEILINGS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,053, dated February 6, 1894.
Application filed January 8. 1894. Serial No. 496.199- Term of patent 7 years.
I 0 all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM S. GRAFTON, a citizen of the United States, residing at \Vheeling, in the county of Ohio and State of Vest irgiuia, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a T-Iiece for Metallic Molding, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part hereof, which shows a T-piece for metallic molding designed according to my invention.
My design consists of a T-piece for metallic molding ornamented as follows: In general outline the T-piece is square. Along the edges there are ribs or ridges a, in which are arranged at equal distances apart concaved projections a.
The fiat portion B,of the T-piece, is raised abovethe edges and is connected with one of them by an inclined side-piece O, at the upper edge of which there isa roll or curved projection c. This inclined piece (1, has a rib a, dividing the piece G into two parts.
On the opposite side of the plate, in each corner there is a roll or curved projection D, which connects the flat portion of the T-piece with adownwardly-inclined portion D, which extends to the edge of the plate.
Arranged centrally in the Hat T-shaped portion B, of the plate, is a rosette E, consisting of a concaved, central, circular projection e, and a series of radially-arranged pearshaped projections e, between which is ar ranged a series of ribs or bars e having circular knobs a at their outer ends. The to sette is surrounded by a rectangular series of pyramidal projections F. One side of the rectangular figure formed by the pyramidal projections is close to the edge of the roll 0. From the other three sides projects a series of 0 curved ribs G, which extend to the ribs at the edge of the plate. A central, curved rib 5 within each set of ribs G, connects with a se ties of radial depressions g. 'Iriangular projections II, are arranged in the corners of the T-shaped, fiat, raised portion B. and near the rolls or curved projections D, are bird-shaped projections I.
In each division of the portion G, there isa series of curved ribs 0 joining each other at their outer ends, and surrounding a triangular projection 0 Similar figures are formed on the parts D, D, of the plate.
The essential feature of my design is a T- piece for metallic molding, the raised bodyportion being T-shaped and ornamented with a rosette surrounded by a square figure, from which radiate curved ribs, the inclined portions being ornamented with curved ribs.
I claim- The design for a T-picee for metallic molding herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name.
\VILLIAM S. GRAFTON.
