DESIGN FOR A SASH-RIBBON BUCKLE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,032, dated February 6, 1894.

Application filed January 4 1894. Serial No. 495,709. Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, \VILLL-Ul A. l EAEN, a citizen of the United States, residing at C0- lumbus, in the county of Franklin and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Sash-Ribbon Buckles; and I do hereby declare the following to be atoll, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.

In the drawings referred to, Figure 1 is a side view of my design of sash ribbon buckle; and Fig. 2 is an edge view.

As shown in the views, the buckle consists of a substantially rectangular frame having side portions 1 and 1, the bars 2 extending between said side portions forming rectangular slots, and a rounded lower part 3 having a circular hole 4. The side bars 1 and 1 epposite the lowest slot are slightly curved or expanded so that the frame is of slightly greater width at this point than in the lower rounded part \Vhat I claim,and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
