PATENT OFFICE.
ASSIGNOR TO THE ONEIDA DESIGN FOR A SPOON, 8w.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,632, dated June Application filed May 7, 1892- Serial No. 432,210- Term ofpatant 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
lleit known that I, WILLIAM A. J AMESON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Niagara Falls, in the county of Niagara and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Spoon and Fork Handles, of which the following is a specification.
This design relates to the ornamentation 0t spoon and fork handles, and is illustrated in the accompanying drawing, which represents a face View of a spoon embodying my design.
The leading feature of the design consists in the raised pear-shaped ornaments 6, arranged on the face of the enlarged outer portion of the handle along its margin, in connection with a plain center field, which is inelosed by the pear-shaped ornaments. The
handle gradually widens toward its enlarged outer end, which latter has a semicircular outline. The pear-shaped ornaments which surround the plain center field are arranged radially around the semicircular outer portion of the handle, with their pointed ends extending inwardly, while the ornaments arranged along the edges or sides of the handle on opposite sides of the plain center field point toward the enlarged outer portion of the handle.
\Vhat I claim is-- The design for the handle of a spoon or fork, herein shown and described.
