DESIGN FOR A CANE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,991, dated August 11, 1891.
Application filed June I, 1891. Serial No. 394.794. Term of patent 3%; years,
To all whom, it may concern,-
Be it known that I, HARRY B. SNYDER, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Denver, in the county of Arapahoe and State oi Colorado, have invented a Design for Cane-Heads; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure l is a front view in perspective showing my design, and Fig. 2 a rear view of the same.
My design consists of a bust figure of a man with spare elongated features, prominent Roman nose, mustache, and short pointed beard, wearing a high lace collar, an armorplate, and a cross supported from the neck by a chain. 'lhe arms, which nre about half shown, are provided with puffi-sleeves, This bust is formed integral with a top piece A, which joins the body B of the cane at line C. The bnst is formed in connect-ion with the top piece A, so as to give the appearance that the rest of the figure or statue is concealed within the cane. PartA is circular in horizontal section, its greatest diameter being where it unites with or joins the bust. The periphery of this part A is beveled, as shown.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is- The design for cane-heads, as shown and described.
In testim ony whereof I aix in y signatu re in presence of two witnesses.
I'IARRY I3. SNYDER.
Witnesses:
