Description

Des. 198,749 Patented July 28, 1964 United States Patent 0 "cc FLUID-INSULATED ELECTRICAL JUMPER CON- DUCTOR FOR SHUNTINGEQUIPMENT DURING REPAIR THEREOF 0N HIGH VOLTAGE LINES Robert S. Ewers, Decatur, Ill., assignor to Bodendieck Tool Company, Taylorville, 11]., a corporation of Illinois Filed Nov. 15, 1963, Ser. No. 77,442
Term of patent 14 years (Cl. D26-1) Des. 198,749
PAGE 2 FIG. 1 is a front elevational view of a fluid-insulated electrical jumper conductor for shunting equipment during repair thereof on high voltage lines, showing my new design, with the line clamps at the ends of the flexible pigtails stored at the ends of the central rigid conductor rod while the jumper is not in use;
FIG. 2 is a fragmentary front elevational view on a larger scale, showing the left end portion of FIG. 1;
FIG. 3 is a fragmentary side elevational .view, taken on the plane of the line 3--3 of FIG. 2, looking in the direction of the arrows, showing the tap clamp and cable;
FIG. 4 is a fragmentary sectional view, taken on the plane of the line 44, of FIG. 1, looking in the direction of the arrows, showing one arrangement of the supporting straps;
FIG. 5 is a fragmentary bottom plan view on a larger scale taken on the plane of the line 55, of FIG. 1, looking in the direction of the arrows, showing the left end;
FIG. 6 is a fragmentary bottom plan view, similar to FIG. 5, taken on the plane of the line 66, looking in the direction of the arrows, showing the right end of FIG. 1;
FIG. 7 is a fragmentary top plan view, on a larger scale, taken on the plane of the line 77 of FIG. 1, looking in the direction of the arrows, with the straps removed.
Portions of the drawing figures are diagonally lined to indicate a light transmitting surface. A portion of the jumper has been omitted in FIGS. 2, 5, and 7 for convenience of illustration. The broken line showing of a portion of an electrical power transmission pole in FIG. 1 on which the jumper may be hung is for illustrative purposes only.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a fluid-insulated electrical jumper conductor for shunting equipment during repair thereof on high voltage lines, as shown and described.
