GEORGE \V. SHIEBLER, OF BROOKLYN, NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR A HANDLE FOR SPOONS, 800.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,497 dated December 17, 1889.
Application filed September 12, 1889. Serial No. 323,779. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE W. SHIEBLER, of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for the Handles of Spoons, Forks, &c., of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, in which Figure 1 is a photographic viewof the face of a spoon, and Fig. 2 is a similar view of the back of a spoon.
The leading feature of the design of the obverse side of the handle, Fig. 1, is the scroll ornaments 1111' i i and central ornament is and the representation of a shell 12 at the broad end of the handle.
The leading feature of the design of the reverse side of the handle, Fig. 2, is the scroll ornaments 11' "i and shell ornament h and plain center Z.
