DESIGN FOR GIMP.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,196, dated July 9, 1889.

Application filed May 23, 1889. Serial No 311,881, Tenn ofpatent 7 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it. known that I, GEORGE W. GRAHAM, of New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for (limp, of \vhicli'the following is a specification.

This design consists, essentially, in the representation of a series of knots in a row along the center of the gimp. There are parallel lines represented on the sides of this row of knots.

The accompanying drawing represents a piece of gimp embellished with my design.

A designates a row of knot-shaped figures extending along the center of the gimp. They are here delineated as made out of a cord or thread much coarser than that forming the body of the gim p.

B C designate two lines, represented as broken lines, and extendinglengthwise of the gimp on each side of the row of knot-shaped figures. These lines are coarse lines, and therefore prominent and conspicuous in the gimp.

\Vhat I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

A design for gimp, consisting of a row of knot-shaped figures extending centrally and two lines extending one at each side of the row of knot-shaped figures, substantially as shown and described.
