apexes disposed in relatively opposite directions. Between said elevations B and C- is a channel, D. The area covered by the elevations B G and the channel D equals that covered by one elevation A. Between the elevation B and the adjacent elevation A is a channel, E, and between the elevation O and the adjacent elevation A is a channel, F. The aforesaid elevations are in rows, as G H, with 'lorm of patent '1' years.

The general effect of the design as a whole is that of a number of hexagons--one hexagon, for example, being formed by the elevations marked 1 2 3 4.
' I claim- The design for surface ornamentation of Walls, &c., substantially as herein shown and described, which consists of the quadrangular pyramidal elevations A, the triangular pyra- 5 midal elevations B (J, and the channels D E F, disposed in rows, as G H, with interme diate channels 1'.
