To all whom it may concern.-
Be itlknown that I, MrNEonn S. CLARK, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new flllld original Design for Card Receivers and Stands, 01' which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, making part of this specification.
The design relates to a card receiver and stand; and it consists of a stand of stacked mnskets and a card-plate in the form of a drum-head atthe points of the hayonets of the muskets. At the base is a tray with a pyramid of balls and rods extcn iing to the butts of the innskets. A cannon-ball is also located above the point of interlocking of the bayonets.
The nature of my design is fully shown in the accompanying perspective drawing of my card receiver and stand.
A in the drawing represents a stand which is formed of a stack of three mnskets that interlock at their bayonets. At the center of the base of the stand A is a pyramid, a, of cannon-balls on a tray, b, from which latter extend rods b to the butts of the muskets. A cannon-ball, d, is placed between the bayonets,
above theirpoint of connection. At the points of the bayonets is a card-plate, D, which is made in the shape of a drum-head and ornamented in; anysnitahlc design.
Having thus described my design, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent-- 1. The design foracard receircrandstand, composed of astack of mnskets interlocked at their bayonets, a pyramid of cannorrhalls on a tray at the base of the stand, and a centreceiverin the shape of a drum-head:ttlhepoints of the bayonets, as shown and described.

In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my invention I have signed it this 19th day of September, 1885.
