DESIGN FOR A CLOCK-CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 15.571. dated November 25. 1884.

To all whom it may concern:
- Be it known that I, ARTHUR O. J EsNmGs, of Southport, county of Fairfield. and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced by my own industry, genius, eilorts, and expense a new and original Design for a Clock- Case, of which the following is a. correct description, reference being had to the annexed photograph, which represents a. face view of my new clock.
In the photograph, the letter A represents the base, B the body, and Othe top, of the clock. The base A has a lower ogee molding, a, and above the some on ogee molding, b, which is ribbed vertically, thereby producing a peculiar effect. The body 13 has on its surface contiguous irregular cell-like depressions d d, as shown. The top 0 has its lower part, 4:,
mode of flaring form and divided by upright creases into adjoining tapering beads, as shown. Above this lower portion. 6, of the top is the nioldingf; above that the ball 9, which carries the ring 11..
