UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A PENCIL CLIP OR SIMILAR ARTICLE Frank Winter, Lincolnwood, Ill., assignor to Autopoint Company, Chicago, 111., a corporation of Illinois To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Frank Winter, a citizen of the United States, residing at Lincolnwood, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Pencil Clip or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

In the drawing:

Figure 1 is a front elevational view showing my new design of pencil clip or similar article;

Fig. 2 is a side elevational view thereof;

Fig. 3 is a rear elevational View thereof;

Fig. 4 is a plan view thereof;

Fig. 5 is a view in horizontal cross-section taken on the line 5-5 of Fig. l; and

Fig. 6 is a view in horizontal cross-section taken on the line 66 of Fig. 1.

The essential features of my design for a pencil clip reside in the arrangement of the beading at the elbow, as seen most clearly in Figs. 1 and 4, in combination with the specific configuration, all as illustrated.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a pencil clip or similar article, substantially as shown and described.
