UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A SPOON OR SIMILAR ARTICLE OF TABLEWARE To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Norman J. Mercer, a citizen of the United States and residing at Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Spoon or Similar Article of Tableware, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof and in which Fig. 1 is a front elevational view of a spoon or similar article of tableware, showing my new design;

Fig. 2 is a side elevational view; and

Fig. 3 is a transverse sectional view upon the line 3-3 of Fig. 1 upon an enlarged scale as compared to Fig. 1.

The essential features of my design reside in the portions shown in full lines.

The design is illustrated as embodied in the handle of a spoon but it is understood that it may also be embodied in forks, knives, and other tableware.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a spoon or similar article of tableware, substantially as shown and described.
