Be it known that I. JULIUS PEGEL, of New York city. Sew York, have'invented a new and original Design for C irpets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photograph, which forms a part of the same.

The invention relates to a design to be worked into or upon surfaces, such as carpets or similar fabrics; and it consists in the novel configuration and grouping of figures herein specifically shown and claimed.

The accompanying photograph is a face view of a carpet showing my new design.

The design consists of large flower and leaf JULIUS PEGEL.
