My design relates to the top of lamp-chimneys and similar articles, its purpose being to form an ornamental finish to the top otlampehiinneys aboretheedge thereof. Heretofore theselamp'ehiinneyshavebeen blownt'oshape, and the top or mouth of the chimney formed contracted or straight, or flared out, as desired; and in some eases, alter the top has been tlared by means of suitable tools, the top has been crim ied, the edge being pressed down by a series 01' knives. so as to form eriinps or in dcntations therein.

The object of my design is to form an orna mcntation for the top of the chimney; and it consists, essentially, in a lamp-chimney having a circular edge, and a bending or similar ornamentation raised above the said edge.

In the drawings, Figure l is a side View of my design, and Fig. 2 is a top View thereof.

The chimney a is blown to shape and finished by suitable tools, and has the mouth I), which is flared, and the circular edge 0, to give it a neat appearance. Raised above the circular edge 0 is the beading ornamentation d.
