DESIGN FOR CIGAR-BOX.
Specification forming part of Design No. 10,7 30, dated June 18, 1878;
application filed May 20, 1878.

Be it known that we, MATHEW STOCKHAU- SEN and WALTER BEGKLIND, of the city of New York, county of New York, and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for a Cigar-Box, of which the following is a specification:
Figure l is a horizontal section on the line 0 c, Fig. 2. Fig. 2 is a side elevation of our newly-designed cigar-box; and Fig.3 is a vertical central section on the line 76 is, Fig. 1.
Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts in all the figures.
This invention relates to a new design for a cigar-box; and consists in the new configuration hereinafter described.
In the drawing, the letter A represents our newly-designed cigar-box. The same is, at its outer side, provided with upright cigar-shaped moldings a (it, placed close together, except at two places where the series of these moldings is separated by two flat uprights, b I), also shown in Fig. 1.
The cigar-shaped moldings a a in each series are placed with their pointed ends upward, and form scallops between them, as shown.
d are ornamented tips applied to the upper ends of the moldings a; and e is a cover for closing the box A. f is a horizontal band placed around the box A at about the center thereof.
I claim- The design for a cigar-box, substantially as shown.
