DESIGN FOR A BADGE.

Application filed December 6, 1899. Serial No. 739,443. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern;
Be it known that I, JAMES C. DERBY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Concord, in the county of Merrimac and State of New Hampshire, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Badge, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part hereof.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a Latin cross collocated with a crown, the crown encircling the cross and the combined cross and crown being surrounded and inclosed by a wreath or chaplet of conventional roses and rose-leaves.
It is apparent that this design is applica ble .to brooches, scarf-pins, lockets, Watch charms, and other such articles, and it is apparent also that my design may be placed on or worked into the article it is intended to ornamentinalto-rilievo or has-relief or printed, painted, cast, or otherwise placed upon the article of manufacture.
I claim- The design for a badge as herein shown and described.
