DESIGN FOR BURlAL-CASKET MOLDING.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ALBERT H. NIRD' LINGER, of the city of Rochester, in the county of Monroe and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for Moldings for Burial-Gaskets; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which- Fignre 1 is a side elevation of a casket, sh owing my new design. Fig. 2 is a plan looking down upon the lid. Fig. 3 is an end elevation. Fig. 4 is a diagram showing the ornamental puifed surface.
My design relates to the exterior of the casket; and consists of moldings having an ornamental puffed surface arranged in suitable panels, as hereinafter described. 1
A is the body of the casket. B is the lid.
on a are the moldings having the puffed surface arranged in suitable panels around the sides, the ends, and upon the top of the lid. These pufl's represent puffs formed by folding or crimping fabric.
The pufl's may be formed from fabric and applied either directly upon the casket or attached to moldings secured to the casket.
This surface presents a fine ornamental appearancc.
What I claim as new is- The design for the moldings of burial-casket panels, consisting of a puffed surface, as shown in Fig. 4. of the drawings.
