Specification forming part of Design N0. 10,333, dated November 27, 1877;

application tiled October 27, 1877.

[Term of Patent 7 years] To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that l, ALONZO SCHWARTZ, of New Yorkcity, in the county of New York and State of New York, have originated a Design for Badges, of which the following is a clear, full, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying illustration, making part of this specification.

The nature of my design is fully represented in the accompanying illustration,to which reference is made.

A is the center of the badge, which represents a tiara, or triple crown.

To the sides of the middle crown of the tiara are attached the keys C 0, indicating jurisdiction, while the tiara indicates civil rank.

Encircling these emblems is a band, D, joined together at the lower end by a buckle and loop. ()11 the lower part of the band, between the buckle and. loop, are placed the letters C Y M N ll." ()n the upper part of the band are the words God and our Neighbor.

I do not, however, conline myself to the band or border, as showmand ldo not eonline myself to the words and letters placed on said \Vitnesses:
