PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A LOUNGE CHAIR Application March 11, 1936, Serial No. 61,580

Term of patent 3 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Milton B. Smith, a citizen of the United States, and resident of Perrysburg, county of Wood, State of Ohio, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Lounge Chair, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming a part thereof.

In the drawing The figure is a perspective view of the lounge chair showing my new design.

The characteristic feature of the invention resides in the end frames of semi-elliptical form connected at their front sides by a horizontal member which merges into the ends of said front sides, the lower ends of the rear sides of the frame being free, combined with a rectangular seat and back frame which has its sides continuously curved and portions thereof intersecting the upper end portions of the end frames but spaced below same to form therewith openings of substantially elliptical form, the lower terminals of the sides of the seat and back frame extending upwardly at an angle from their points of intersection with the end frames, as shown.
