PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A CHAIR Irving Salomon, Chicago, Ill.

Application April 15, 1938, Serial No. 76,526

Term of patent 7 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Irving Salomon, a citizen of the United States of America and a resident of Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Chair, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, and in which:

Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a chair embodying my new design;

Fig. 2 is a side elevational view of the same on an enlarged scale; and

Fig. 3 is a front elevational view thereof.

The dominant feature of the design resides in the lower supporting frame and particularly in the bracing members having the curved inner portions extending upwardly from the horizontal portions of the bracing members in spaced relation and connected to the inner ends of the top horizontal portions of the legs by a central hub member located wholly at the top portion of the supporting frame centrally thereof, all as shown.
