the object of this inventio1 1 to provide a display cabinet for umbrellas, canes and the like, thec abinet comprising ,a rotatable"case,"and a display member rotatable in the case the display member being so constructed thatit- :vvill hold .and display a ;.plurality of the devices -\vhic'h':the cabinet 5Y is adapted-to contain. V
V'ith the foregoing and 'other objects invievv \vhichwill appear'as the descriptionproceeds, the invention resides inj'the com- -bination and arrangement ofeparts-and in the details of construction herei'nafternde scribed and claimed, it being understood that changes n thepreclse embodiment of invention here n disclosed can ,be made \vithin the scope of What is claimed without departing from the spirit of th e'invention. the cabinet, as a 1 whole, is i ot-atable, con'iprises preferably a head 1, from which legs 2 rad1ate,the legs 40' are equipped with transparent plates 10,
whereby the contents of the structure may. beexamined by prospective purchasers. lYhen the hinge'dly mounted frames 8',
'- 2- being provided with casters 3. Fixed toand rising from the head 1, 1s a shaft-41, "upon which the case, 5 is rota-table. The
case 5 comprises a base '6, a top 7 and frames 3', uniting-the base 6- and ,the top 7. Other frames 8"'are hinged to the frames 8, as shown at 9. The several frames 8 and 8 which constitute the closures of-the structure. are disposed as shown in 'FigQ, and

the display member "is "a conical neck 20," adapted to be received by a series of balls 19, held in aball-r'acel7,- formedi'nithe upper face. of the base 6fof tliecase 5. Se- 'cured to, and projectingradially from the tube 41, are aser-ies of partitions 25, 'defin ing compartments 26-imthe display member.- To the outer edges of the partitions 25, oppositely projecting angle members 28 fare'securedq "Tofeaehpair of the angle inembers 28,

clips, as cl ea-rly shown in Fig. 3,:may be arranged, diflprent' heights, thus providing for the holdirig'of umbrellas andca n'es of difierent Sle'ngths. The articles which, at
their'upper ends, areretained in the clips 30 are at their lower ends, retained in openplay m'ember.
Secured to the legs 2, and projecting outwardly beyond the. base '6 of the case 5, areaplu'rality of arms 32, having a function .to be explained hereinafter-.
In practical operation, a qfiantit-y. of canes or umbrellas may be nrcfiiited inthe-compartments 26, and it may beuioted-thatthe holders 29 constitute partial closures for the compartments, so that the articles therein i may not readily be displaced. The canes 01'; umbrellas which areto be displayed most prominently, are engaged at their upper ends by the clips 3.0, their lower ends being mounted in the openings 42 in thebottom -21. The umbrellas or canes which are thus 05 held,- may readily be-observed through the transparent plates- 10 of tieca'se 5, and by rotat-ingthe-case5, any one of themovable closures 8 may be positloned opposite any one of the holders 29, so that a given 'um- 1'10 brella or cane may'readily be. removed. By
the. same process, access may be had to the articles which are stored in the compart-' .ments' 26. As one umbrella after another is,
examined by the purchaser, the umbrella may be rested uponthefloor, and against the case 5, the umbrella being prevented from'falling over, by the arms 32 which outstand beyond the case 5.
-Having thus described the invention, what 1. A device. of the class 'described comprising an outer, rotatably mounted case; a
