Over the spirally wound body portion2 isplaced an outer tube or cover 7' which is the body portion. .The outer end of the covering tube 7 is'prefcrably closed by a button or plug 8 formed, of wood or other; suitable material. said button bavinfv a depending lug 9 which contacts with he inner tubular lining 3 tosccur'e the button in lposition on the end of the covering 7. The handle 'when thus constructed is adapted to be secured to the broomhead in any suitable manner. thus providing a light, strong and' durable broom handle.
Froni the foregoing description, taken in connection with the accompanying' drawings. the construction .and invention will be readily 'u derstood'without requiring a more Iextended explanation. Having thus described and ascertained and rigidity there; to, andat the same time providing a light.v I
