To all whom 'it may concern:
Be it known that-I, LEVI SOLENBERGER, a citizen of the- United States, residing {at- Guildford tmvnshi 'i, in the county of Franklin and State of Pennsylvania, -'have ,in-
' vented new and useful Improvements in Signs, of which the followiugis a specifica- ()ne of the important objects of my invention is to provide 'a sign wherein the face thereof, or that portion bearing the signlegends, shall not be defacedby unsightly nails, clamps, or like fastenings. f
Otherwise stated, the object is to provide,
' a structure whereby the fastening or hang-' ing neans shall be obscured from the vision of a person looking at the front'ot the sign a'fter .it shall have been secured in place.
To this end, the invention consists in con-' strueting the rear face of the sign with suit able means'such as flanges, adapted to cooperate with asuitable frame, preferably of wire, the frame being adapted to be first secured to a suitable stationary support, and then the sign-body to he slipped over said frame.
